INTRODUCING SASQUIE'S REWARD POINTS!

Earn points for creating an account on our site, subscribing to our mailing list, referring friends and family, writing a review, and purchasing products.

Here are the details to start earning points:

Click the green "Earn Sasquie's Rewards!" button at the bottom of your screen/page.

It will open a popup window with different options, depending on whether you have an account already, are logged into your account, etc., i.e. "Create an account", "log in", "earn more points", etc. 

Follow the different links to create an account, subscribe to the email list, get your personal referral link for friends and family or write a product review.

Creating an account = 100 points ($5 value)

We believe you should be able to buy our products without registering for an account, and you are still able to continue doing that. However, creating an account will not only earn you 100 points (a $5 value), it will also allow you to continue to earn 1 point for every dollar you spend on our site! And the best part is, our conversion rate works out to be approximately a 5% cash back (100 points = $5 or 1 point = $.05). Just think, if you purchase our product with a cash-back credit card, you can earn twice on the same transaction!

Go to "My Account" page to create your account.

You can then log in to your account and be able to see your rewards balance and redeem points for any product on our online store.

Customers that have accounts prior to the start of our reward points program (11/07/24) have been credited 100 points in their accounts already.

Subscribing to our mailing list = 100 Points ($5 value)

Subscribing to our mailing list will earn you another 100 points (another $5 value!) However, creating an account first is required for the accounting, crediting, and redemption of the reward points. 

To subscribe and receive the 100 points, create your account, if you do not have one yet, enter your same email address you used for your account at the bottom of this page or select the mailing list option when creating your account.

Customers that have accounts and are subscribed to our mailing list prior to the start of our reward points program (11/07/24) have been credited 100 points in their accounts already.

Refer friends and family = 200 points each! ($10 value)

OK, this is really cool, you've got to admit. You will receive 200 points each time a "new-first-time" customer purchase is done through your own referral link, which you will be able to get when signed in to your account by clicking the green button at the bottom of your screen/page. The popup window will show you the different options to earn points, including the box with your own personal link to give to friends and family.

All you have to do is give your friends and family the link which they can then follow. If they make a purchase as a new customer, it will credit you 200 points directly into your account for each "new" customer referral. That's $10 value each! And the best part is, there are no limits to the number of "new first time customer" referrals you can do, or the points you can earn!

The benefit for your friends and family is, that each referred new customer will also receive a 20% off discount code for their first order through your referral link. They will also have the opportunity to receive points for their purchases, plus the points for subscribing and creating an account, so 20% off, 100 points for creating an account, and 100 points for subscribing to our mailing list, not too bad... And if they refer friends and family, they can cash in on those points as well!

Review one of our products = 50 points

This one is simple. All you have to do is write a review within our site while logged into your account for our products. Just go to the product you want to review and click the "Write a Review" link under the product name title. Easy peasy!

Spend $1 = 1 point

No long explanation here, get 1 point for every dollar you spend on our site! Get enough points and redeem for products.

The not-so-small print...

The restrictions first. Points expire after 2 years, but the system redeems the older points first. A reminder email will be sent out 30 days prior to expiration of points. Points are not transferrable. Points cannot be redeemed for cash and are only redeemable through our online store for products listed. Product cannot be redeemed split partially with points and dollars. Wholesale accounts are not eligible for reward points! Shipping cost cannot be paid with points.

What you can do (for those that really like to "hack" the systems). If you have different email addresses and you want to refer yourself within the same household, or partner or spouse, or roommate, to get the discounts several times, we'd like to say to you, go ahead! Our main purpose is to grow our business and sell our product so people can eat a healthy nutritious snack, so if you buy our product and get extra points to redeem to get more product, we are happy! See why below.

HOW AND WHY are we doing the Sasquie's Reward Points program

This one is just common sense. As a small commercial bakery start-up with limited resources, Alicia and I believe that the best approach is to rely on the quality of our product and customer service to gain new customers, and then rely on the kindness and support of those customers to spread the word to their friends and family. Which, if they like our product, would theoretically do the same with their friends and family.

We are choosing to focus our efforts on a reward program that benefits our customers directly. In essence, sharing some of the profit with them since we are not having to pay a percentage to distributors, freight companies, and retailers. Retail is, of course, in our plans for the future as we grow. However, at this time, we think the best way to grow our customer base and sales is by the direct interaction that Alicia and I have with our customers at farmers markets and craft fairs, our online sales reward program, and letting our product do the "talking" through the thousands of free samples we give out each month.

As many of our visitors may have noticed, all our products have a "Retail price" listed on our product pages, and a "Your price" cost that is roughly between 6% to 8% less than the retail price. This is because we had to establish our suggested retail price that wholesale buyers can use as guide. Since we sell directly through our site to our customers, we felt we could lower the cost for our customers, in essence, they save the profit the retailer would get if they bought from a store!

In addition to that, we wanted to go further and reward our customers with a more direct benefit that could actually have a positive effect on their wallet. By creating the Sasquie's Reward Points program with approximately a 5% cash back reward on purchases, we felt our customers would get a tangible cost benefit to continue buying our Sasquatch Snackers, or in other words, we are passing along the profit a distributor would get to the customer. 

And by offering the 100 points for subscription, creating an account, and the 200 points for referrals, we hope all our customers see that we value their continued support. We always tell our customers we appreciate them, but this way, we are actually putting our money where our mouth is, because at the end of the day, actions is what matters, talk is cheap!
